Teen charged in Project X-type party not allowed before judge because of attire

Conner Bennet was scheduled to go before a judge today on charges related to a party thrown in a vacant lot, but was unable to enter the courtroom because of his attire, according to KHOU.

Bennet was wearing a V-neck T-shirt, cargo shorts and sneakers with no socks. He was also chewing gum which is against the rules of the court, according to the story.

He is one of 11 teenagers charged with criminal trespass after a large party was discovered earlier this month in a vacant home that was still under construction. Nearly $100,000 in damage was caused to the property during the party, according to the story.  Full Article
