Woman tells everyone she does not lock her doors

Pensylvania – Leaving the doors unlocked when you aren’t home isn’t a good idea, police say. Neither is telling people that you leave the doors unlocked, as one Bensalem homeowner recently learned.

The woman returned home to find that someone had entered her home between 8 and 9:30 a.m. and stolen more than half of a 90-count prescription for oxycodone, a prescription painkiller, $42 in single dollar bills and multiple credit cards from a dresser drawer, police said.

A neighbor told police that he saw a very skinny woman with long, dirty blond hair in the driveway of the home about 8:30 a.m. The woman appeared to be operating a blue or greenish older SUV.

The description sounded like someone familiar to the homeowner – a friend of her husband’s named Beth Ann Rivello (picture), 45, of Trevose.

When police interviewed Rivello at her home, she admitted stealing the items. Full Article
