COBB COUNTY, Georgia – Police say a Powder Springs woman is facing charges after they say she attempted to steal a Bible from a bookstore on Friday.
Investigators say at around 1 p.m., Ashley Chacari Fleming tried to steal the Bible from the Barnes & Noble located at 2952 Cobb Parkway in Cobb County.
They say she left the store without paying for the holy book.
Fleming has been charged with theft by shoplifting, and was released on a $1,000 bond. Full Article
