Man gets 40-years for burglarizing sheriff’s lieutenant’s house

Florida – Everly Lippwe (Picture) and Joseph Cameron, both 22, broke into the home of a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office lieutenant’s home in April 2012 and swiped some guns, bulletproof vests, jewelry and electronics, prosecutors said, reports the Pensacola News Journal.

The duo also was accused of vandalizing the lawman’s county patrol vehicle with spray paint, stealing his pickup truck and then setting fire to his home after dousing the master bedroom with gasoline, causing extensive damage.

Lippwe was later found guilty of multiple counts of burglary, theft and dealing in stolen property and was sentenced to 40 years in the slammer. Full Article
