Man Charged After Telling TSA Screeners He Has A Bomb In His Pocket

WINDSOR LOCKS – State police said a man taken aside for further screening at the Transportation Security Administration check point at Bradley International Airport told a screener he had a bomb.

The incident caused minor delays at the airport.

Jordan Rickard, 26, of Charlotte, N.C., was asked if he had anything in his pockets and he responded, “Yes, I have a bomb,” state police said.

TSA agents contacted troopers, who have a barracks at the airport, who then took Rickard into custody.

His fiancé was also taken for questioning, but has not been charged. Full Article
