Manhunt for 2 more suspects in kidnapping of prosecutor’s dad

North Carolina – The FBI has launched an all-out manhunt for two additional suspects in the abduction of a North Carolina assistant prosecutor’s father nearly two weeks ago, offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to their arrests.

Six people have been arrested and charged in the case, but two suspects, Jakym “Jak” Camel Tibbs and Quantavious Thompson – also known as “Kirkwood Quan” or “Quan” – remain on the run, Fox affiliate WRAL-TV reported.

Tibbs and Thompson, both of whom are considered armed and dangerous, were charged Friday with conspiracy to kidnap in the April 5 abduction of Frank Arthur Janssen, federal authorities said Wednesday.

Janssen was taken from his Wake Forest, N.C., home and rescued last Wednesday during a late-night raid by the FBI at an Atlanta apartment complex. More
