Troopers placed 31 year old Patrick W. Ruffner of Gonzales under arrest for DWI.
The arrest came after Ruffner allegedly drove impaired to the Troop to file a crash report.
A Sergeant working the desk at Troop A allegedly received a phone call from Ruffner. Ruffner stated that he had recently been involved in an allegedly hit and run crash on I-10 near Siegen Ln. in Baton Rouge.
The Sergeant advised Ruffner to come to the Troop and meet with Troopers in order to fill out a crash report. More
