Michael and Lynda Walton, ages 54 and 52, were found dead Thursday in their home in Lake Pointe Estates, a gated community just a few miles from downtown Katy.
The bodies of the couple were found Thursday by their 24-year-old son. An official cause of death was not available Friday, but authorities said both victims had been shot and that investigators had discovered shell casings from a small caliber firearm.
On Friday, Nehls named Ryan Walton, the third youngest of their four children, as a "person of interest" in their deaths, because he was the only one of their children whom they had been unable to contact. More
