A Middlesex Township woman and her live-in boyfriend were charged Saturday after police said they found them living with two children and a sick, elderly woman in a home full of animal feces.
Monica L. Bohn, 31, and Michael Z. Karns, 28, were each charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of children and one count of recklessly endangering another person.
Middlesex Township Police said they were called to Wertzville Road around 5:30 p.m. Saturday for a report of three children playing in traffic.
Police returned two of the children to their homes. The third child, however told officers his mother and her live-in boyfriend were not home, but his sick grandmother was there, according to police. More
