Hot grits attack leads to attempted murder charges

ORLANDO, Florida – A Florida man has been charged with second-degree attempted murder after he allegedly tossed a pan full of hot, greasy grits on his friend during an argument.
Darryl Blacknell was hospitalized with second-and third-degree burns after his neighbor, Edward Holley, allegedly tossed the burning breakfast food on him.

Holley was apparently upset about the 29-year-old “following” him around, and the two got into an argument.

According to WESH, Holley allegedly told Blacknell, “I’ve got something for you,” and went inside to get the grits. More
