Preschool teacher charged with assault for biting 13-month-old child

Virginia – A Woodbridge preschool teacher was charged with assault after the woman bit a 13-month-old child, in apparent retaliation after the child bit another teacher, according to Prince William County police.

The owner of the early childhood care facility, the Goddard School, was also charged with failure to report child abuse to Child Protective Services after she was made aware of the incident, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

The teacher, 24-year-old Theresa Brown (left), is accused of biting the toddler after he bit another teacher at the school.

Police said someone who witnessed the bite immediately reported the incident to management but that the owner of the school, 24-year-old Nadia Choudhry (right), failed to report the incident to Child Protective Services as required by law. More
