Orem police said Christina Schlegel, 25, allegedly swallowed the double-band wedding ring while fleeing police with Bryan Ford, 30, who allegedly stole the ring from a Zales store in Orem.
Police said an X-ray was taken of Schlegel’s stomach and revealed the whereabouts of the missing ring.
Martinez said Schlegel’s cell is outfitted with a “dry toilet” that does not flush and she has been ordered to search through her waste for the ring. More
