Transient Accused Of Placing Real Estate Agent In Chokehold, Punching Her


LAGUNA NIGUEL (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a transient accused of physically attacking a real estate agent in Laguna Niguel has been arrested on criminal charges.

The incident happened about 1 p.m. Saturday, as the 55-year-old woman attempted to access a lock box of a Laguna Niguel home on Paseo del Campo.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department (OCSD), John Thomas Glenn of Laguna Niguel allegedly placed the woman in a chokehold and punched her repeatedly.

CBS2’s Greg Mills reported the victim was knocked unconscious.

According to deputies, Glenn then fled the immediate area on foot but became involved in a second physical altercation with a resident. More
