GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan - A West Michigan couple who admitted to sexually assaulting a 1-year-old girl learned their fate in court Thursday afternoon.
Stevie Foehl (right), 28, and Michael Emory, 26, were both sentenced to life in prison on first-degree criminal sexual conduct charges by Judge Dennis Leiber in 17th Circuit Court.
Emory will serve three consecutive life sentences.
“Criminal sexual conduct in the first degree is one of the more serious crimes,” Leiber said in court. “I don’t know how to quantify the horror this child was put through.” More
