ALEXANDER CITY, Alabama – A Tallapoosa County Court handed down a stiff sentence on Wednesday for an Alex City man.
During the court hearing, Nick Patterson, 30, was sentenced to 99 years in prison for starving and neglecting purebred Collies on his grandparents’ property.
Records show Patterson struck a plea deal on Wednesday, where he pleaded guilty to charges of animal cruelty and credit card theft.
The charges were a mix of felonies and misdemeanors. More
