HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A mom has been charged in connection with a brutal attack on her 4-year-old son, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said Friday.
Jenea Ann Mungia, 23, is charged with injury to a child with serious bodily injury.
A probable cause hearing was held in the early-morning hours, but Mungia did not appear in court. She is now being held without bond.
In court, prosecutors said her son Ayden suffered "multiple stab wounds to the torso, contusions to the head from blunt force trauma and his genitals were partially mutilated." Prosecutors said Mungia slammed his head into the concrete driveway after stabbing him repeatedly with a knife. More
