Long Island mother and daughter vanished in New York City


Relatives of a missing Long Island mother and her teenage daughter are begging the public for help after the pair visited New York City almost three weeks ago and never returned.

A woman and her teenage daughter from Long Island’s North Fork are feared to be missing after they visited New York City almost three weeks ago and never returned.

Relatives filed a missing persons report Tuesday for Iona Costello, 51, and her daughter Emily, 14, both of Greenport, were last seen March 30 when they left for a planned trip to Manhattan, the East Hampton Star reported.
