A black Baltimore teen speaking to CNN reporter Nick Valencia this weekend explained how “everything you get, you have to earn it.”
“You got to earn it … like if there’s food over there, and they’re saying you can’t have it, sometimes you got to take it — if it’s yours, you need to take it,” the young man explained:
The young man has apparently — though not surprisingly — been conditioned to believe that earning something means stealing it, and that he is in fact entitled to “take” whatever he feels is his. More Video
