Meth lab found inside home of elementary school teacher

North Carolina – Authorities in North Carolina said they found a meth lab inside the home of an elementary school teacher.

Johnston County deputies told media outlets that equipment to make methamphetamine was found in the morning when officers served a search warrant on the Zebulan home, which is about 24 miles east of Raleigh.

Investigators say Lori Whitley, 38, and her husband Gary, 41, face a number of charges including manufacturing methamphetamine and child abuse.

Deputies say the couple’s 8-year-old son was in the home at the time as well. More
