Mom shoves eggs, hot sauce in 11-year-old's face after shells left in food

HOUSTON - A mother rubbed eggs and hot sauce in her 11-year-old daughter's face because the child left egg shells in the food she cooked her mom for breakfast, according to Houston police.

Jaqueline Jimenez-Parro, 33, was charged with two counts of injury to a child.

Investigators say Jimenez-Parro first assaulted her daughter on April 1 after the girl lost a writing pen.

The mother became angry and grabbed her daughter around the neck and pushed her against the wall. The girl said she could not breathe.

The next morning, the girl cooked and served her mother breakfast in bed, but when the mother realized egg shells were left in the food, she flew into a rage, police say.  More
