Aunt Convicted Of Abusing Her Deceased Niece For Years


Over the course of two years, Kay-Ann Morris brutally punished her seven-year-old niece Shanay Walker, who was later found dead due to a brain injury.

Morris was cleared of murder charges because it could not be conclusively proved that the injuries she inflicted directly killed Shanay, but the little girl was found dead in her home in Bestwood, Nottingham, England, in July 2014.

Walker and her mother, Juanila Smikle, were convicted of child abuse.
