Fake doctor charged woman with breast cancer $2,000 for a bag of dirt ‘he promised would cure her’


California – A 69-year-old California man has been arrested for prescribing phony pills, expired prescription drugs and bags of dirt to cancer patients, claiming he was a trained oncologist.

Investigators are now seeking others who may have been scammed by the Northern California.

He was arrested last week for practicing medicine without a license at a bogus cancer treatment clinic.

The investigation by the Ventura County Interagency Pharmaceutical Crimes Unit and the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office began last month when a 49-year-old Thousand Oaks woman told deputies of the scam. More
