Man yelled racial slurs at family, slapped waitress in face at bar

Myrtle Beach - A customer at a Myrtle Beach bar, who did not want to pay the check, instead caused a scene by yelling racial slurs at a black family and then slapped a waitress a foot shorter and 120 pounds lighter than him in the face.

Dustin Lowery, 23, was charged with misdemeanor battery Saturday night after police responded to the Shucker’s Raw Bar Saturday night,according to a police report obtained by The Smoking Gun.

Witnesses told police that Lowery, who is listed at 6-foot-4 and 260 pounds was so abusive to the family that they left the establishment.
