Pastor Shoots Burglary Suspect At Church


BAYTOWN, Texas - Police say a pastor at a Houston-area church has shot a burglary suspect, Lee Marvin Blue (picture).

Baytown police say the shooting happened around dawn Tuesday and the wounded man was transported to a hospital. His condition wasn’t immediately released.

Officers converged on the Church of NewBeginnings in Baytown, about 20 miles east of Houston, following reports of gunfire.

Assistant Chief Roger Clifford says the pastor was at the church when he heard someone trying to break into the building. The minister then armed himself and shot the suspect. More
