Home invaders pose as neighbors with car trouble, shoot Atlanta dad

Atlanta – An Atlanta mom frantically called 911 after a couple of robbers who posed as new neighbors with car trouble stormed her home and shot her husband — all while the couple’s young son napped through the ordeal.

Mike Lash answered, and found two young men on his porch, he said. The pair said they had just moved into the neighborhood and needed to borrow a car jack to fix their car, Lash said.

Mike Lash was shot in both of his legs, while his wife and two children were unharmed.

Police have arrested one of four suspects. Brandon Jerome Smith (picture), 18, was charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault four days after the attack. More
