Steven Sheerer (picture), 25, was arrested for distribution of obscenity to a minor and endangering the welfare of a child after O’Donnell gave authorities permission to check her daughter Chelsea’s cellphone.
Investigators found “evidence of inappropriate communications over the last several weeks” between the teen and the suspect, according to the Ocean County prosecutor’s office.
Sheerer was busted Friday night at the Barnegat, N.J., home where 17-year-old Chelsea was found Wednesday, seven days after the mentally ill young woman disappeared. More
