Teen thought to have bloody nose dies from gunshot wound

Philadelphia – A teen thought to have a bloody nose turned out to be suffering from a gunshot wound to the head that killed him, according to reports.

Corey Tunnell (picture), 16, was visiting a cousin’s southwest Philadelphia home Sunday night, family members told WPVI-TV.

Police say a gun went off about 6:45 p.m. and someone called 911 to say the boy’s nose was bleeding, the TV station reported.

Paramedics discovered he had been wounded as they rushed him to Presbyterian Hospital. More
