Fellow state penitentiary prisoner Mark “Slim” Daniels, 27, threw himself at Holmes and took a few swings at the convicted mass killer earlier this month, Colorado Department of Corrections spokeswoman Adrienne Jacobson told The Denver Post. Holmes wasn’t injured.
