Retired Baltimore Police Officer Attacked Outside A Bar By Teens

BALTIMORE - A 16-year-old boy has surrendered in connection with a beating of a former Baltimore City police officer.

Authorities have linked Allan Jerome Howard (picture) to an aggravated assault that happened Saturday in the 4500 block of Pennington Avenue in Baltimore, police said.

Howard is being charged as an adult with the attempted first-degree murder of a retired police officer, who has not been identified, police said.  More
