Former NSA division head to plead guilty to beating adopted special-needs son, 3, to death


The National Security Agency's former Korea division chief is to plead guilty to beating his three-year-old son to death, court files reveal.

Brian O'Callaghan, 38, a decorated Iraq War veteran, was arrested last year and charged with killing son Hyunsu just months after he and his wife Jennifer had adopted the young boy with special needs from South Korea.

O'Callaghan's family originally claimed the child's death was a tragic accident as the NSA chief - who had top secret clearance with the agency - was not capable of hurting his adopted son.  More
