Police name suspect whose gun jammed during attempted murder

New Orleans - The attack and miraculous survival of Peter Gold, 25, was captured on a surveillance camera. Gold is still recovering from the shooting, which happened after he heroically intervened in an apparent robbery, NOLA.com reported.

The New Orleans Police Department identified the suspect as Euric Cain (picture), 21, on Sunday. 

New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu and Police Superintendent Michael Harrison said Cain faces charges of attempted first degree murder, second degree kidnapping and armed robbery, according to NOLA.com.  More
