Firefighters were called to an apartment on East Main Street just after 9:00 p.m. Monday for a smoke alarm activation.
When they entered the smoky apartment, they discovered a deceased cat in the oven.
The resident, Darren Annovi, was arrested and charged with aggravated animal cruelty. More
