Jury selection got underway Monday in the trial of a Baton Rouge man accused of committing a rash of armed robberies, abducting and sexually assaulting two women, and trying to kill a witness to one of the robberies during a 3 1/2-hour stretch during early morning hours in 2014.
Andre Young, who was 19 at the time, faces a total of two dozen charges that include armed robbery and attempted armed robbery, second-degree kidnapping, aggravated rape, attempted second-degree murder and simple burglary. More
