Waitress stabs customer in the heart while eating dinner at restaurant because he cursed her

Diners were shocked to see a waitress stabbing a customer in the heart after he made a comment to her that she did not like, according to police in New York.

Acting Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez announced that the 37-year-old waitress was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison for fatally stabbing an acquaintance who was seated in the restaurant where she worked, which was owned by his family.

Lan Shui Yu, 37, of Sunset Park, Brooklyn, was sentenced by Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Neil Firetog, after she pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.   More
