Stepfather, 38, 'beat five-year-old to death in a park

A man is accused of beating his five-year-old step son to death after witnesses claim they heard a child pleading for forgiveness before 'sickening blows' were dealt out.

Marvyn Iheanacho, 38, allegedly flew into a rage and brutally attacked young Alex Malcolm in Mountsfield Park, Catford, south east London.

The terrified boy pleaded 'I'm sorry' after Iheanacho flew into a rage when he had left his trainers inside the park, Woolwich Crown Court heard.  More
