NORWALK, Calif.—A San Gabriel Valley gang member has been sentenced to death for killing two people in Whittier, including a man who was stabbed in a case of mistaken identity.
Thirty-nine-year-old Gabriel Ronquillo was sentenced Thursday for murder with special circumstances. Los Angeles County sheriff's Deputy Randy Fruto says the judge rejected a motion for a new trial. He says Ronquillo didn't make any statement to the court. Full Article
