Life in prison for woman in love-triangle murder trial

Jury finds Graham-Trott guilty of first-degree murder. She's been sentenced to life in prison.

An assistant state attorney told the jury deciding the fate of Sheila Graham-Trott that the case all came down to her statements to her family.

"This defendant told her own children and her own mother what she had done," Samantha Barrett said. "And they believed her."

Graham-Trott is on trial for first-degree premeditated murder, accused of the February 2010 killing of Kelly Brennan, the lover of her estranged husband.

Barrett began her closing statement by playing the 9-1-1 call Graham-Trott's mother made, in which she reports her daughter is saying she killed someone. More
