Man burglarized tattoo parlor after getting a tattoo – recognized by tattoo

The owner of a tattoo parlor that was burglarized in Frederick recognized the man seen on video surveillance footage by the ink art on this left forearm, police said.

Frederick police officers spotted two men on surveillance footage taken from a store next to the Classic Electric Tattoo at 43 S. Market St. from the early morning of Sept. 4, 2013.

The store owner identified one of the men as Max M. Goransson, 20, who had gotten a tattoo done at the store a month before, police said.

Detectives noticed a large, distinct tattoo on the left forearm of one of the two men, and the owner of the store also recognized his work and provided police the name of his former client, according to police. More
