Man Charged With Entering Home Drunk, Cooking Corn

ROCKLAND – Rockland police arrested a Carver man early Wednesday after he allegedly entered a home, cooked several ears of corn and attempted to punch the homeowner who confronted him.

Officers were called to a house on Sunnybank Ave. at 1:40 a.m. after the homeowner called 911 to report that a man broke into his house and was still inside.

Upon arrival police found John Dalton (picture), 69, of Carver, inside. Police described him as “clearly intoxicated.”

The homeowner told officers he was awaken by loud noises coming from the kitchen. More
