Gunman who shot 3 at Florida State University was former student, lawyer

Florida – The gunman who opened fire on students inside Florida State University library was a lawyer who graduated from the school, officials said.

Myron May injured three students, one critically, early Thursday before he was shot and killed by cops, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press.

May graduated from FSU in 2005 before attending Texas Tech University’s law school, where he worked on the school’s law review and was a leader in National Black Law Students Association, according to scholarship biography.

Just after midnight, the gunman stormed into Strozier Library, where hundreds of students were up late studying for final exams. More
