An accused Milwaukee rapist with an outstanding warrant for his arrest said he never planned to sexually assault a 101-year-old woman, otherwise he would have brought a condom with him.
Police used a new DNA technique to track down the Milwaukee beast on Friday after identifying a familial match already in the Wisconsin law enforcement database.
Antoine D. Pettis, 20, faces nearly 60 years in prison after being charged with burglary, aggravated battery and sexual assault in the Labor Day weekend attack, Milwaukee police said.
Pettis said he only planned to steal property, but attacked the woman once he saw her on the bed inside her home on Milwaukee's north side, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.
