Man Faces Charges After Allegedly Beating Girlfriend’s Pit Bull


MEDFORD – A Medford man faces animal cruelty charges after he was caught on camera beating his girlfriend’s pit bull outside of his Cleveland Street home.

According to police, Ryan Baker was arrested after one of his neighbors showed multiple cell phone video showing different times Baker was seen punching, kicking, dragging, and throwing the 1-year-old brown pit bull.

One of the neighbor’s video captured Baker throwing Bullet the dog by its legs over a fence.

“Fifteen feet away from where I’m trying to raise my family is just disgusting. It won’t be tolerated. It can’t be tolerated,” the man who recorded the video and gave it to police told WBZ-TV. More
