Man accused of kicking and punching 11-month-old boy he was babysitting is captured

Florida – A man who is accused of the attempted murder of an infant he was babysitting was captured Sunday, police say.

Investigators allege Glen Franklin Neal Jr., 31, punched, kicked and bit an 11-month-old boy in Pinellas Park, near Tampa Bay, according to a Friday alert from the Pinellas Park Police Department.

The baby is in serious condition with severe head trauma and brain bleeding after the July 5th incident, cops say.

Police issued Neal’s wanted notice on Friday morning, WFTS-TV reported.

Officers collared Neal two days later and he’s charged with one count of attempted murder, the department announced in a Facebook post. More
