Mom Leaves 2-Year-Old Girl In 108-Degree Locked Car


Arizona – Police officers arrested an Arizona mother after she allegedly left her child in a locked car in the summer heat while she went shopping.

Mikayla Lynn Peer, 20, is currently being held in jail in Phoenix, Arizona. Officers charged her with child neglect and endangerment.

The incident occurred at around 4 p.m. on July 4 after law enforcement officials got a report of a child left inside of a locked car in a Wal-Mart parking lot, reports KPHO.

Tony Smith, who was walking through the parking lot when he found the 2-year-old girl in the vehicle, reported the issue. Officers soon arrived and they discovered the child sweating profusely in the locked car. More
