The boyfriend, Robert Wilson (picture), handcuffed 9-year-old Jack Garcia and then pummeled him, Hagerstown police said.
The badly wounded boy clung to life for nearly five days at a Washington, D.C., hospital but died on Sunday, police Capt. Paul Kifer confirmed.
