Sandra McClary, of Baltimore, called Anne Arundel County police on Sunday to claim the 2 to 3-month-old child, who was discovered by a local bishop, according to NBC Washington.
She told police the baby was supposed to be with her father. But when authorities tracked her movements using her car license plate, they found that McClary’s car had been spotted in the area where her daughter was abandoned.
Police say they believe that McClary took her daughter out of the car and left her on the side of the road. More
