Connecticut teen sexually assaulted by driver who offered her a ride to school on a cold day

Connecticut - A Connecticut teen dove out of a moving car to escape a driver who sexually assaulted her after offering her a ride to school on a cold morning, police said.

Towanna Randall, 38, appeared in court Tuesday on charges of sexual assault, unlawful restraint and reckless endangerment in connection with the Oct. 5 attempted abduction, according to the Bridgeport Police Department.

Randall, a repeat offender who lives in nearby New Haven, was arrested Saturday.  More
