Four family members found shot dead in South Carolina home died 'very, very violent' deaths

South Carolina - Four people who were found shot dead in a home in South Carolina on Monday ‘died very, very violent deaths’, authorities said.

Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore said autopsies on Mike Scott, 58, his wife of nine years, Cathy Scott, 60, his mother Barbara Scott, 80, and Cathy’s mother Violet Taylor, 82, revealed that they all died from gunshot wounds.

He said the four died in their home on Refuge Road in Pendleton sometime on Sunday afternoon.  More
