According to Public Safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler, officers were dispatched to a house in the 100 block of Zara Street at 2 p.m. for the report of a man who had been shot.
Officers found a 45-year-old victim who was talking and alert. He was taken to UPMC Mercy in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. More
