Missouri mom repeatedly poisoned 9-year-old son with prescription drugs from 2 hospitals

A Missouri mom repeatedly poisoned her 9-year-old son by slipping him toxic combinations of several prescription drugs that she stockpiled by “surreptitiously” visiting two hospitals, officials said.

Rachel Kinsella, 35, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child following a months-long investigation, St. Louis prosecutors announced Friday.

The Meadville mother drove her son, Patrick, long distances to have him treated at two different hospitals, prosecutors said.  More
